C/w Nana: "Stewpot Cake" [see video description] (ຂະໜົມໝໍ້ແກງ == Kanom Maw Gang)

When we posted this video in 2013, we didn't know what to call this in English, so we gave it a literal translation. It's supposed to be funny name. Maw gang (ໝໍ້ແກງ) means a stew pot, and kanom (ຂະໜົມ) means a dessert. We noticed recently that lots of people from Thailand were upset about this video because they thought we were claiming this to be a Lao dessert, but we just didn't know where the dessert originated from when we first shot the video three years ago. Someone posted this link, and we want to share https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khanom_mo_kaeng so people will know the history of this dessert. We are not trying to deceive anyone. The title with "Nana: Lao" was copied and pasted on a lot of our videos to save time long time ago, but this was just meant to show that the cook is Lao, but the food sometimes may not be Lao. This is to be different from American "Nana" which means "grandma" in English. We always appreciate when people point things out kindly to us. Many of the recent comments are just so terrible and mean-spirited. :: Cooking with Nana: "Stewpot Cake" (ຂະໜົມໝໍ້ແກງ == Kanom Maw Gang) "Ma Der, Ma Der" means "Please come join us" in Lao language.
