Mareko Maumasi was kind enough to give me about 30 mins of his time at Blade Show this year (2019). We got to talk about what he's been up to, his experience on Forged in Fire, his influence on the knife making community, the finer points of chefs knife knife design and what it takes to make it in knife making industry. It's a lengthy video with a lot of great information and well worth a full watch.
