Having formed in Melbourne in 2001, the trio, Slinkee Minx scored an Australian hit with their cover of Belinda Carlisle’s “Summer Rain” in 2004. Their cover of Real Life’s “Send Me An Angel” first appeared on their “Electric Dreams” album in 2007. Real Life also hail from Melbourne and their original version of “Send Me An Angel” (from 1983) reached #6 in Australia and #29 in the US.
