When I rediscovered the Everly Brothers back in the 1970s, I heard "Devoted To You" for the first time. Why had I never heard such a wonderful song at the time of its release in 1958? Because it was the B-side to "Bird Dog"... and in the UK B-sides rarely made a chart showing of their own and radio stations never played them.
