FAMOUS GRAVE TOUR: Visiting Golden Girl Estelle Getty At Hollywood Forever Cemetery

FAMOUS GRAVE TOUR - On one of my many walks around the Hollywood Forever cemetery, I stopped at the grave of one of my favorite Golden Girls, Estelle Getty. It reminded me that the fist time I saw her was in the 1980s when she was on Broadway with Harvey Fierstein in the hit play Torch Song Trilogy. She played Harvey's mother and nearly stole the show, just as she later did on one of my favorite TV shows, the Golden Girls. Sadly, the late Bea Arthur and Rue McClanahan were cremated and have no graves to visit. Wouldn't it be great if they were all reunited in this cemetery? RIP Estelle and Sophia!
