Making Tiny Diamond Rings Smallest Engagement Solitaire Ring

Hand making a diamond set gold ring in our London studio. Using a tiny 2mm natural diamond to make these very popular and super dainty solitaire rings. These rings make amazing stacking bands worn alone or layered with other rings on any finger. And they are the perfect engagement ring for our customers looking for something small and dainty. First we make the band from 9ct yellow gold but we also make these in 18ct gold and white or rose coloured gold too. Then we add a bezel setting to the band. Then once cleaned and polished for the first time we set the diamond. We use traditional tools and craftsmanship techniques to set the diamond. However to work on this small scale we use one of the newest additions to any professional jewellers workshop, the stone setting microscope.
