Benachin " joffol rice " both the white and red is a very common dish in the Gambia, it is usually served in all kinds of occasions both ceremonious / mourning events
Joffol rice / benachin as it is locally call is originated from Senegal in west Africa even thought each west African states has it's owned Recipe & an way of cooking it but one thing for sure it's always gonna taste good.
