Linda Ronstadt on The Johnny Cash Show - Her First Appearance

Linda Ronstadt's first appearance on The Johnny Cash Show. She sings "The Only Mama That'll Walk The Line" and a duet of "I Never Will Marry" with Johnny Cash. It is a very prophetic appearance for three reasons - Two quotes from Johnny Cash and the title of the second song. Johnny introduced Linda as "A very lovely young lady that I really think has what it takes to be around for a long, long time to come." And, "Linda Ronstadt - I'm sure you're gonna be hearin' a lot of that name from now on." Right on both counts. Plus the duet Linda sings with Johnny is "I Never Will Marry". And sure enough, she never did.
