The Songbook: Peter Hayes of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

Peter Hayes of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club first picked up the guitar at the age of 14 when he began trying to figure out how to play his mother's classical guitar. As he continued to play, his mother showed him flamenco and finger picking styles that had a strong influence on his playing and technique. Peter would eventually go on to play with The Brian Jonestown Massacre and eventually form Black Rebel Motorcycle Club with Robert Levon Been in 1998.
