We Were Pirates, a D.C.-based indie pop/rock band founded by multi-instrumentalist Mike Boggs, performs as part of Millennium Stage’s monthly collaboration with Hometown Sounds, a podcast and website dedicated to featuring bands based in the D.C. region. We Were Pirates’s indie rock music has been featured on This American Life, NPR’s Morning Edition, and the documentary Dear Mr. Watterson.
