Jambo stood guard over the boy while he was unconscious, placing himself between the boy and other gorillas. He later stroked the unconscious boy. When the boy regained consciousness and started to cry, Jambo and the other gorillas retreated, and an ambulance man and two keepers rescued the boy. This DVD tells us the full story of the Jersey Zoo gorilla family, including dramatic pictures of Jambo guarding the boy and how he was rescued.
