Butch Cassidy, whose real name is Danny Elliott Means II, born in Long Beach, California, is an American singer and rapper.
Cousin of the rapper Lil '½ Dead and the singer Nate Dogg, he made his debut singing in a church choir. Over the course of his career, he has worked alongside awesome rappers such as Snoop Dogg and Xzibit for their albums. His first appearances as singer in featuring date from 1996 on the title Be Thankful with Nate Dogg and in 1998 on the title Ridin 'High with Daz Dillinger and WC on the album Retaliation, Revenge and Get Back. He participates in many other titles such as Mack 102's Street Shit, 2Pac3's Picture Me Rollin '(Remix), Snoop Dogg's Dodgeball, Mystikal5's Tarantula, and Great Place To Visit by Crooked.
On April 3, 2007, he released his first studio album Back B4 You're Lonely.
In August 2015, Butch Cassidy takes part in the Pknuckle song, It's On.
