Eunice Hoo (何沛璇) -- It's Not Too Late MV

It's Not Too Late Written by: Eunice Hoo Story of the song: This song is the most personal song off the album, as it takes you into a sneak peek of an intimate conversation I had with my mom. I remembered that night vividly while my mom came into my room uninvited. I had my first break up, and not knowing how to handle my emotions, all I really want is to be left alone. But I guess she could hear the soft whimper through the doors, and being the mom that she is, she felt the need to do something about it. She started off cautious, tip-toeing around my feelings with the typical words of consolation like "Don't cry, you'll get through it." All the words could pass as consolation if you are not the one actually experiencing it. That really did no help at all, in fact, she made things even worse. Quickly she caught herself and resolved to my wishes but that strong maternal instincts of hers, still couldn't bear leaving me alone like that. So, she used her presence and sang me a lullaby she used to sing to get me to sleep. While I fall asleep to that oceanic desire of my mom's voice, she slowly murmurs a thank you. Thinking I was asleep, she said, "I met your dad early, and am fortunate enough to not know how a heartbreak feels like. Through your pain, I learned how I've taken him for granted. I never thought love could be such a painful endeavor. I hope it's not too late but I'd love to fall in love with him again. With that, I wrote "It's Not Too Late" as a gift for their marriage anniversary.
