David Lindgren tävlar med låten ”We are Your Tomorrow” i Melodifestivalen i andra deltävlingen fråm Malmö 2016. För att lyckas nå ut med budskapet har David Lindgren tagit experthjälp – av en superhjälte. – Green Lantern är en inspiration. Jag älskar sådana filmer för de är lätta att ta till sig. Det är ganska skönt och viktigt att ha en bakgrundshistoria till numret. Jag vet vad det betyder för mig, berättar han för svt.se/melodifestivalen. Resultatet är en lasershow, där gröna lasrar strålar upp runt David Lindgren och hans dansare på scen. – Vi är en armé som slåss för att folk ska börja älska varandra och ta hand om varandra och vårt vapen är lasrarna, sen får folk såklart tolka det som de själva vill, säger han.
