It’s official – Nicki Minaj’s booty is a national treasure, and her iHeartRadio Music Festival performance is PROOF! Yes, Ms. Minaj was one of many artists to take the stage in Sin City on Friday for the mega-music fest, and Clevver Music is here to recap all the sexiness that ensued, just in case you maybe missed it.
Let’s take another little sneak peek, shall we?
DANGGGG! Seriously, Nicki’s performances of “Anaconda” are just getting better and better each time she does them! It was quite twerk-tastic, don’t you think? PS, we need to talk about that ensemble. The studded bra and printed pants combo were TOTALLY doing it for us. Talk about BOOTY! And that chain, decal thing round her midsection? SO Sexy, and SO Nicki.
Going back to the music for a sec, since that’s why we’re all here, “Anaconda” isn’t the only one of her hit songs she performed – she opened with “Super Bass,” which TOTALLY blew us away.
After that, she slowed things down for a second with “Pills N Potions,” and then went into her hit track “Moment 4 Life.” Another highlight came when Nicki got all hood on us – her words, not ours – when she performed “Beez in the Trap.” AND OMG! We gotta give a shoutout to Dascha Polanco aka Diaz from Orange is the New Black from getting all hyphy during Nicki’s set. We see you girl! Love it.
Nicki also did her verse from her “Flawless” remix collab with Beyonce, though, sadly, did not join in. However, there was a weird technical difficulty so she had to do some of it a capella. Which she TOTALLY killed, BTdubs. But it’s weird, we can’t really tell if that was staged or not? Was she trying to fake people out to get them to think Bey was coming out? Either way – Slay Nicki, SLAY.
Speaking of SLAYING, Nicki was joined by Ariana Grande where they belted out “Bang Bang.”
Girl POWER. And saving the best for last, Nicki performed “Starships” which had the whole place jumpin.’ Can you blame them?
