A night celebrating Jungle music in all its iterations.
From the original Jungle Sound, through its evolution into Drum & Bass, Garage and more recently Jungle influenced sounds including Dubstep, J.Tek, 3beat, and Juke etc.
After the success of the first Booyah! we bring you the second installment of an on going series that will showcase the country's wide range of Jungle minded talent.
On these nights the roots of Jungle will always be represented by strictly vinyl sets. We see this as fundamental. Aiming to deliver not just the anthems but also rare dubplates in their original glory.
The future of the sound will be equally represented with DJ sets showcasing the latest aspects of the Jungle movement including the hottest digi-dub selections on offer.

A true veteren of the New Zealand Jungle scene 48 is no stranger to Jungle and Drum & Bass. After a storming set at the first Booyah! we welcome back the Auckland Jungle don to represent the golden years of the sound.
ROSHI (WELLY)
Joining us from the windy city Roshi boasts a deep collection of rare original Jungle pressings. His debut set for Booyah! will showcase a strictly-vinyl mix of gems from his impressive collection.
STEEZIE WONDER
Otherwise known as Flex, Steezie produces a myriad of Jungle influenced styles of dance music. His recent releases include Buoyancy Aid which featured on the Aotearoa Dubstep Allstars compilation and collaboration with ill.Gates (Canada) on the massive Safari Remix for King Kapisi.

Former Program Director of quake city's RDU, now residing in Auckland city this man is on the pulse of current club sounds. Expect only the most upfront in bass-heavy Jungle informed selections. One half of Fundamental Events, Insomniac is proud to present the second installment of Booyah!
RIOTBOY
Only 19 Riotboy has already supported international acts including Doctor P, Krafty Kuts, Zeds Dead and Bare Noize. Specializing in Dubstep and Drum & Bass Riotboy will be warming things up on the night with a rib-rattling set of sub-heavy deep, dark Dubstep.

A truly versatile lyricist, Kaps possesses the ability to sing soulful hooks as-well as rock devastating rhymes.
