2006 demo from the Tiny Dancers; an obscure indie act that signed with Parlophone in the same year. They were obviously intended for great things: Parlophone promoted them very well, and their first and only album - Free School Milk - was produced by John Leckie of the Stone Roses. Things didn't work out, and the band split up in 2007.
I came across this CD when browsing the bargain bucket at my local record store, in the winter of 2008. The packaging has to be seen to be believed - basically a small paper sleeve the folds out to reveal the colourful artwork by David Bailey. I've never been a fan of indie trash, and even then I much preferred the likes of The Birthday Massacre and Marilyn Manson; but I knew the moment I bought it that I had found something very special, rare and fun. Now I'm sharing it with you.
