Gaara : (我愛羅, Gaara) is a shinobi of Sunagakure. Before he was born, Shukaku was sealed within him, resulting in his mother's death. Regarded as a monster by the village and with nobody to love him, Gaara came to despise the world and began relying only on his own strength, gaining the title Gaara of the Sand Waterfall (砂瀑の我愛羅, Sabaku no Gaara, English TV: Gaara of the Desert). After his defeat by Naruto Uzumaki and his unwavering dedication to his friends, Gaara begins emulating Naruto's method and changes Suna's opinions of him. He eventually becomes the village's Fifth Kazekage (五代目風影, Godaime Kazekage, Literally meaning: Fifth Wind Shadow), a position he maintains even after Shukaku was removed from his body by Akatsuki. Obito Uchiha (うちはオビト, Uchiha Obito) was a member of Konohagakure's Uchiha clan. He was believed to have died during the Third Shinobi World War, his only surviving legacy being the Sharingan he gave to his team-mate, Kakashi Hatake. In truth, Obito was saved from death and trained by Madara Uchiha, but the events of the war left Obito disillusioned with reality, and he inherited Madara's plan to create an ideal world. Resurfacing under the names of Tobi (トビ, Tobi) and Madara Uchiha himself, Obito subtly took control of the Akatsuki, using them as a means to advance his machinations, eventually going public and starting the Fourth Shinobi World War. However, towards the war's conclusion, Obito had a change of heart and, as atonement, sacrificed his life to save the same world he sought to replace. Yugito Nii (二位ユギト, Nii Yugito) was a jōnin from Kumogakure and the jinchūriki of the Two-Tails. Rin Nohara (のはらリン, Nohara Rin) was a chūnin of Konohagakure and a member of Team Minato. Yagura (やぐら, Yagura) was the jinchūriki of the Three-Tails and the Fourth Mizukage (四代目水影, Yondaime Mizukage, Literally meaning: Fourth Water Shadow) of Kirigakure. When the Three-Tails was captured by Akatsuki, it had no host and roamed out in the wild. Rōshi (老紫, Rōshi) was a shinobi of Iwagakure and the jinchūriki of the Four-Tails. Han (ハン, Han) was a shinobi from Iwagakure and the jinchūriki of the Five-Tails. He was at some point captured by Akatsuki and had the Five-Tails removed from his body, causing Han's death. Utakata (ウタカタ, Utakata) was a missing-nin from Kirigakure and the jinchūriki of the Six-Tails. In the anime, his capture by Akatsuki is the focus of its own arc. Fū (フウ, Fū) was a kunoichi from Takigakure and the jinchūriki of the Seven-Tails. Blue B (ブルービー, Burū Bī) was a high-ranking Kumogakure shinobi as well as the predecessor of Killer B as the jinchūriki of the Eight-Tails. Killer B (キラービー, Kirābī, Viz: Killer Bee) is a shinobi from Kumogakure. He is the most recent jinchūriki of the Eight-Tails, though, unlike his predecessors, he is able to befriend it and hone its power for Kumo's benefit. Despite being responsible for the village's protection, B aspires to be the world's greatest rapper. Mito Uzumaki (うずまきミト, Uzumaki Mito) was a kunoichi who originated from Uzushiogakure's Uzumaki clan. She later married Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage of Konohagakure. She would later become the first jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails following the events at the Valley of the End. Kushina Uzumaki (うずまきクシナ, Uzumaki Kushina) was a Konohagakure kunoichi who originated from Uzushiogakure's Uzumaki clan. She was the second jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails and the mother of Naruto Uzumaki. Menma Namikaze (波風メンマ, Namikaze Menma) is a descendant of the Uzumaki Clan in Tenten's Infinite Tsukuyomi dream. Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki (大筒木ハゴロモ, Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo), known to the world at large as the Sage of the Six Paths (六道仙人, Rikudō Sennin), was a legendary god-like figure who founded Ninshū, which led to the creation of the ninja world. He was the son of Princess Kaguya Ōtsutsuki‎‎ and alongside his fraternal twin brother, were the first to be born with the same powerful chakra as their mother. Both he and his brother defeated their mother, who had become the terrifying Ten-Tails, in battle and sealed the powerful beast within him, thus making Hagoromo the first jinchūriki. Madara Uchiha (うちはマダラ, Uchiha Madara) was a legendary leader of the Uchiha clan. He founded Konohagakure alongside his rival, Hashirama Senju, with the intention of beginning an era of peace. When the two couldn't agree on how to achieve that peace, they fought for control of the village, a conflict that ended in Madara's death.
