Kate Voegele: "Shoot This Arrow: Getting Out Of The Passenger Seat" | Talks at Google

Kate Voegele's ear for music started as early as she can remember, learning to the play the guitar and write music from her talented father. From releasing her first album at age 16 to landing a four season acting swing on "One Tree Hill" (which incorporated her own music) she's never looked back. Kate's musical style matured even further, following her 1970's Southern California musical inspirations with the release of 2016's acclaimed "Canyonlands". While in Ann Arbor for a stop on her tour, Kate came to Google to play some music and discuss her career, the personal transformation that has allowed her to get out of the passenger seat and take the wheel of her life, and her newest single, "Shoot This Arrow", which pays homage to the women's empowerment movement, something near and dear to Kate's heart.
