On Saturday May 30th Sleeping Bag Records brought the disco to Brooklyn. Closing the month long Red Bull Music Academy festival in New York City, Sleeping Bag Records brought the old school to the new school at Brooklyn’s Good Room. The opening room set to the pace of early dance with sets by Storm Queen Morgan Geist, Kurtis Mantronik and Nicky Siano, while room 2 gave a classic hip-hop tribute to the sister label Fresh Records with Chairman Mao, EPMD DJ Scratch and The Awesome 2.
