On June 26, 2014, Stanford Law School welcomed Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Deputy Director of the USPTO Michelle K. Lee to campus for the lunchtime discussion "Speaking Truth to Patents: The Case for a Better Patent System." Lee spoke on patent reform progress including implementation of executive actions related to patents issued by President Obama over the last year.
