Paleface - Feel the Day - Shaker Steps

Paleface embodies simplicity and energy in his songwriting. A bit of a hallowed character in the indie folk pantheon, Paleface has an interesting history of happenstance as a disciple of Daniel Johnston, former roomate of Beck, and friends of Langhorne Slim and others. Paleface has had a bit of a resurgence as of late due to his friendship and contribution of songs written by him but performed by the Avett Brothers on their recent albums. We met up at The Loudon House, which houses the Lexington Art League. We walked through some of their installations and set up in a room that could fit the three musicians and their instruments comfortably. Paleface performs a new song "Feel the Day"-- a bit of a personal take on the whole "carpe diem" ideal. Enjoy!
