JCDC 2019 Jamaica Festival Song Finalist - Jay Smith - "Embassy Appointment"

Jerome “Jay Smith” Smith’s relationship with music started at an early age with a love for instruments. His affinity for the keyboard, cello, and drum, saw him recruited into the Black River Pride of Exchange Marching Band. He also became a member of the Genesis Steel Band. Smith would later be known throughout his home parish, St. Elizabeth as a versatile singer. To this day, he is in great demand for concerts, weddings, funerals and other occasions. His community spirit sees him lending his voice to support choirs, churches and events throughout the parish.
