The first time I heard this song I thought of Wuthering Heights, it just seemed to match that atmosphere and emotional force. With the Tom Hardy/Charlotte Riley film version probably being the best out there, it made sense to me to put them together. This song really showcases Darren’s very impressive operatic-style falsetto. Written by Hayes/Wilder, from the album, This Delicate Thing We’ve Made (2007). The film Wuthering Heights (2009), starring Tom Hardy and Charlotte Riley. Dir. by Coky Giedroyc. A few Cathy-ghost scenes were sourced and sampled from the TV series from 1978. Based on the book by Emily Brontë 1818 – 1848 (painting by her brother Barnwell). My sincerest thanks to Darren’s PS label and the filmmakers Mammoth Screen/PBS; all clips used here simply for art's sake, nothing more. Love and peace. x Comments listed post approval to curb troll responses (extreme ones only).
