JO JO ZEP & the FALCONS "Leave no stone unturned" celebrating Elvis Costello Day on the Green
"A day on the green with Elvis Costello" tour early 2013 Rochford Winery (VIC), Leconfield Winery (SA), Bimbadgen Winery (NSW), Sirrimet Winery (QLD) and Kings Park (WA) hosted us Falcons supporting Elvis Costello like we did back in 1979! Mr Costello told me it was then so it must be true.. I certainly can't remember.
This music track is my homage to classic Falcons style old-school R&B and the only track I wrote on our 2003 album "Ricochet"..
the film clip is my homage to my comic-compadres/brothers-in-arms in the one-of-a-kind band that is Jo Jo Zep & the Falcons. Melbourne's 3RRR FM also features as a location in this clip.
Many thanks to Athol Maxwell-Davis and Carbie Warbie for performance shots. Thanks to Joe for his great vocal interpretation of this song and for his cooperation getting the shots. Also great honour to guitarist Jeff Burstin (all the guitar solos on this track are his) bass player John Power, drummer legend Gary Young, new chum Angus Burchall and the ubiquitous Willie Wilde.
