Thorsteinn Einarsson will represent Iceland at the Mako Song Contest 2019 with the song "Aurora". The Mako Song Contest is an online contest held annually, created by Reza Mafi and Adrian Diaconescu. The very first edition took place in 2018 when 63 countries competed for the win, with Sweden eventually crowned the winner whilst the player received a trophy , taking the 2019 Edition to Stockholm, Sweden, for the very first time.
