ONE SEAT DEMON! 9.80'S! STOCK OTHER THAN TIRES! CALI CAR TESTS ILLINOIS TRACKS! RT66 JOLIET! BYRON!

Seems to be a growing trend as I've run across a few car enthusiasts visiting tracks nationwide to test their cars and skills on a wide variety of circumstances albeit driving or towing their cars the whole way. I met Randy Seward from Florida earlier in the year, with an 8 sec twin turbo Mustang doing the impossible and achieving it, as he drove from state to state testing his skills and car at 47 tracks while clicking off 8 sec runs! Watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xK2Y2Ob4IIc Although not on the epic level as that feat, Ron Silva of Pasadena, California takes a different approach as he trailers his Dodge Demon to the midwest to compete in an event in St. Louis, Missouri and then to Wisconsin, Michigan and Illinois to test their respective drag strips! Now Ron's Demon is unique, as the license plate reads it has only One Seat. Along with a passenger side mirror delete plus weld forged rims wrapped with M+H Racemaster 4.50x28.0-17 fronts and rear Mickey Thompsons ET Street P315/50R17 rears and an aftermarket battery, one would argue it's has weight advantages over a completely stock Demon with the crate options. Whatever the case this setup gets close to that 9.65 Dodge claims to be achievable. Watch as on Ron's first pass at RT66, he gets a little air under the front tires and he blasts to a [email protected] and then tops it with an evening pass of [email protected]. The next day at Byron Dragway, Ron runs his best time of [email protected] and proves with some driving skills that the Demon is well within range of the acclaimed 9.65 elapsed time Dodge claims!
