Sheila TOMMY ROE

Tommy Roes's debut single, way back in 1962 was this Buddy Holly - sounding song, "Sheila" which made #1 in the USA, Australia and Canada - and #3 here in England. He followed it up with a couple of other releases which made the Top 10 in Britain in 1963 - but then despite chart successes elsewhere, we didn't hear from Tommy Roe again until the end of the decade. But in 1969 he was back ... with his UK #1 smash hit, "Dizzy".
