I was so young and emotional (I’m still emotional, just not young anymore lol). So in this song.. he leaves her for someone else.. but she doesn’t get sad and mope around, she feels relieved. She feels like she can finally see clear now that he’s gone. She’s also come to realize that she loved him too much & it blinded her, but also kept her in a dark place.
