From a young age, Delv!s was drawn to old gospel and soul records, finding his voice reflected in the cracked, mournful beauty of Billie Holiday and Nina Simone. While he fronted a rock band at school, his incredible range quickly outgrew their Nirvana and AC/DC covers and he studied jazz vocals in Antwerp for a year before gravitating towards Brussels’ exciting electronic scene.
