High Energy - Evelyn Thomas 1984 (club mix)

This song is probably one of the greatest dance songs of the 80s. It was released in 1984. Everytime it was played in the clubs in 1984, it automatically filled the dance floors. I can never figure out why it was never played on the radio in the U.S. From what I read, it was a huge hit all around the world. The only explanation is that the "anti-disco" movement of 1980 really hurt "dance recordings" in the 80s. Radio DJs won't play dance music on the radio. Madonna was probably one of the few artists that was able to get away with it, though LOL Clubbers actually knew she was the new DISCO QUEEN of the 80s xD
