Yourenigma - Pony Concerto no. 2 (Magic Duel)

This is a work I had conceived of back when "The Magic Duel" first aired. That's not to say I was that wowed by the episode, but I was musically inspired. Trixie has a fanfare of sorts. Almost laughably simple in its thematic material. Three different notes, actually (B - F# - G - F#, or "Do, So, Le, So.) Just enough for a piano concerto dramatization of the events of both Boast Busters and The Magic Duel. I reinvented those few notes in as many ways as I possibly could think of. Yes, that includes a fugato episode. Hold onto your flanks. There IS a program to this piece, but I think I'll leave it to your imaginations, this time. But the movements are as follows: I.
