Voodoo Music Flagship Rapper/CEO Siddy Rich Drops New Single "Str8 Like Dat,"Prepares For Release Of Forthcoming Album Rich City
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Fans from all over cyberspace have been grooving to the mesmerizing music of Florida-based rap sensation Siddy Rich. He has kept his name buzzing via hit singles "Throw It In the Air" and "Voo-Doo Baby" featured on much-respected hip hop-oriented websites AllHipHop.com, TheSource.com or UrbanBuzzFactor.com.

Continuing to create timeless treasures that defy all genres of music, Siddy Rich releases his latest sizzling summer single "Str8 Like Dat" in preparation for his forthcoming Voodoo Music-released mixtape Rich City due this Fall.

"'Str8 Like Dat' is a record that inspired my personality," Siddy explains. "I'm the type of person that feels like I have the power to make somebody or something come right back to. They come straight back to me, just like that."

Born in Haiti, Siddy moved to the United States with family when he was only nine years old. As a way of dealing with the culture shock of moving from one country to another, he began rapping as a means to express his frustrations. After properly cultivating his craft, he founded his own label, Voodoo Music, launched his own promotional company, Siddy Rich Entertainment.

Now, in preparation for the Fall release of his forthcoming mixtape Rich City, he has been riding off the success of his newest single "Str8 Like Dat" and B-side single "Hundred Thousand," both produced by B.S.M.G. (or Beat Starz Music Group; Plies, Bow Wow, Soulja Boy).

On the "Str8 Like Dat," the young Zoe balls out of control over monstrous, mid-tempo production accented by hard-hitting bass and snare competing with smooth synthesizers and Siddy swagging on the verses.

"My music is made to inspire and educate those who may be unfamiliar with the Kreyol people," Siddy explains. "The best rap music in my opinion is a reflection of the ones who made it. And my music is a clear reflection of me."
