BRENTWOOD, TN. (Sparrow Records) - No, the popular new singer/songwriter isn't taking any animated train rides with Tom Hanks, but Matthew West ('More') did recently attend a showing of The Polar Express with other Christian entertainers including Amy Grant, Audio Adrenaline, and VeggieTales co-creator Mike Nawrocki.

Since the release of his debut album, HAPPY, Matthew has received invitations to many special events. Earlier this month, he performed two of his radio hits on FamilyNet's At Home-Live! and will soon appear on The Hour of Power at the Crystal Cathedral—show details and broadcast date will be available soon at MatthewWest.com.

West began by writing songs for other artists such as Sara Groves, Jump5, Salvador, Rascal Flatts, Point of Grace, and Billy Ray Cyrus, before releasing HAPPY on the eve of 2004. His first single, 'More,' spent two months at No 1, and was successfully followed up with 'The End' and 'You Know Where To Find Me.'

This holiday season, you can buy Matthew West's debut album online for just $11.97, and that includes FREE shipping* when you include the promo code: WEST. So get HAPPY, right here.
