The Moth & The Flame Is "Young & Unafraid" On New EP
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Elektra Records has announced the debut release from The Moth & The Flame. The "YOUNG & UNAFRAID" EP arrives at all digital retailers on Friday, September 25th.

"YOUNG & UNAFRAID" is available for pre-order beginning today, with all pre-orders accompanied by instant grat downloads of the EP's smash title track as well as the newly unveiled "Wishing Well" (streaming now at the official The Moth & The Flame YouTube Channel - www.youtube.com/user/Themothandtheflame).

"Young & Unafraid" premiered earlier this summer and quickly earned 1 million Spotify streams on its way to the Spotify "Worldwide Viral 50" as well as SiriusXM's "Alt NATION Alt-18." The track's inspiring companion video - directed by filmmaker Rebecca Thomas and co-starring 60-year old skateboard hero Neal "The Dude" Unger --is also a sensation, fast approaching 1 million views at The Moth & The Flame's own YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/user/Themothandtheflame.

In the meantime, The Moth & The Flame is set for a major round of North American touring, highlighted by a series of dates alongside In The Valley Below (see below itinerary). The trek begins this evening, Friday, September 4th, with a performance at Portland, OR's Keller Auditorium supporting Lindsey Stirling and then continues through mid-November. For details and ticket availability, please see tmtfmusic.com/#tourpart.

Founded in the high desert of Provo, Utah but currently based in Los Angeles, The Moth & The Flame arrived in 2011 and quickly earned a fervent fan following and worldwide applause for their heady brand of lush, atmospheric indie. NPR's "All Songs Considered" hailed the band's "creative intertwining of compelling music and strong visuals," while NYLON praised 2013's "&" EP as "a layered, complex collection of rock songs that probably has Chris Martin wishing he came up with them himself." What's more, The Guardian proclaimed the EP's "Sorry" to be "as brilliant as Flaming Lips, by which we mean it has the brightness, the sheer surface dazzle, of the Lips' best music."

A complex and inventive live outfit, The Moth & The Flame has also spent considerable time on the road, including countless headline shows, tours alongside The Naked And Famous and longtime friends Imagine Dragons, and festival appearances at such international gatherings as Austin's South By Southwest (SXSW), Toronto's North By Northeast (NXNE), and the UK's The Great Escape.

The Moth & The Flame is: Brandon Robbins (vocals, guitar) * Mark Garbett (keyboards/vocals) * Andrew Tolman (drums) * Michael Goldman (bass, guitar, vocals).
