Bill Anderson Signs With The Kinkead Entertainment Agency For Booking Representation
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Country music icon "Whisperin'" Bill Anderson has signed with The Kinkead Entertainment Agency for booking representation. Bob Kinkead will serve as his agent and is based in the agency's Nashville office.

"I'm really excited about joining Bob and his agency. His is the 'boutique' approach to booking, with a limited number of artists and a lot of individual attention given to each one. His 30-plus year reputation as an agent in Nashville is impeccable," Bill Anderson said in a statement. "Plus, if we ever have to have a meeting at midnight, he lives only three houses and one boat dock away from where I live on Old Hickory Lake!"

Kinkead said it is a privilege to add Anderson to his star-studded roster. "I am truly honored to represent 'Whisperin'' Bill Anderson an iconic legendary singer, songwriter and television personality. My team of agents and I are very excited to be working with Bill and we look forward to many great years together as Bill's agency."

With a soft vocal style that's instantly recognizable on country music airwaves, Anderson has a long list of unprecedented accolades and awards to his name. He has released more than 40 studio albums, celebrated seven No. 1 singles, and is a six-time Songwriter Of The Year award-winner. As a member of the Grand Ole Opry and Country Music Hall of Fame, he is the only known songwriter in the history of country music to achieve an entry on the country charts for seven consecutive decades, and first recipient of the BMI Icon award.

Anderson's penned hits include "Whiskey Lullaby," (Brad Paisley/Alison Krauss) "A Lot Of Things Different," (Kenny Chesney) "Give It Away," (George Strait) and "Country," (Mo Pitney) among others. At age 19, he composed his first country classic "City Lights" in his home state of Georgia, where he studied journalism at UGA. Other well-known songs include "Still," "The Tips Of My Fingers," "Po' Folks," "Mama Sang A Song," "8X10," and many more.

Anderson is also a decorated TV personality and host, having starred on ABC's "The Better Sex," "Fandango," "Country's Family Reunion" and "Larry's Country Diner," to name a few.

Anderson is gearing up for the September 1 release of his new autobiography, Whisperin' Bill Anderson: An Unprecedented Life In Country Music published by University of Georgia Press.

He will celebrate 55 years as a member of the Grand Ole Opry on July 16, 2016.
The Kinkead Entertainment Agency is located at 2409 21st Ave South, Suite 101, Nashville, TN 37212. Contact Bob Kinkead [email protected].
