NASHVILLE, TN. (Webster PR) - Lynn Anderson is being honored on January 29th by the Germany Country Music Hall of Fame at the 13th GACMF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARD GALA, staged at the Messehalle in Erfurt/Germany. Ms. Anderson will be inducted into their Hall of Fame.

'The Gala is the most important event in Germany's country music community giving credit and honor to the most popular and successful artists and productions of the year. The highlight of the Gala will be the induction of a new member to the Hall of Fame, and this year this honor will be presented to Lynn Anderson," says Manfred Vogel.

'Lynn Anderson has been a favorite singer of music lovers in Germany ever since she reined over the German pop music charts in 1971 with her smash hit Rose Garden. Lynn Anderson has been visiting with her German fans many times and she even recorded a couple of songs in the German language,' Vogel commented.

On January 29th, 2005 Ms. Anderson will join country music greats like Johnny Cash, Dave Dudley, Charlie McCoy, Billie Jo Spears, The Bellamy Brothers, and Wanda Jackson, who have been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame Germany over the years.
The Gala will be a 2 hour TV Special to be televised on February 10th 2005 on MDR TV, a nationwide syndicated TV station.

Lynn Anderson's new album 'The Bluegrass Session' is nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of 'Best Bluegrass Album'.
