Luke Bell Premieres Cover Of John Lennon's "Jealous Guy" With Uproxx, Winter Tour Kicks Off On 11/26
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Later this month, the Wyoming-born ranch hand turned troubadour Luke Bell will hit the road for a string of tour dates throughout the Midwest and South. Today, UPROXX premiered a live video of Bell covering John Lennon's "Jealous Guy" and said "...he might sing like he's from fifty years ago, but he's part of country music's bright future."

Bell's Thirty Tigers debut is a collection of 10 songs produced by Andrija Tokic (Alabama Shakes, Benjamin Booker, Hurray For The Riff Raff) at The Bomb Shelter studio in East Nashville, TN.

NPR Music premiered the video for his single "Sometimes" and said "Luke Bell has a classic, brassy country voice that conjures images of both dimples and tears in a beer. His songs exist somewhere in the same arena, because just as easy as it to be charmed by Bell's clever turns of phrase, he'll hit you upside the head." Bell also sat down with NPR's Scott Simon for an interview on Weekend Edition about his new album.

Zane Lowe premiered his single "Where Ya Been" on his Beats 1 show as a "World First."

The Fader shared his single "Sometimes" and said, "...his music sounds like you could have heard it in the same honky tonk Hank Williams used to play (with the exception of a little profanity)."

Acclaim for Luke Bell:

"A rough-around-the-edges return to country traditionalism, full of honky-tonk shuffles, steel solos and the big, booming baritone of a former ranch hand who's actually lived the cowboy lifestyle."
- Rolling Stone

"...Raw and energetic, rooted in country tradition with a strong dose of the literate facet of the folk tradition." - The Los Angeles Times

"...His music sounds like you could have heard it in the same honky tonk Hank Williams used to play (with the exception of a little profanity)." - The Fader

"Swirling Buddy Holly quirk and Elvis Presley quivers into his classic country constructions, there's a freshness to his interpretation of the genre..." - The Bluegrass Situation

"This is the way it felt when Sturgill Simpson's first band Sunday Valley showed up in the inbox..."
- Saving Country Music
