New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Birmingham pop-punk band, Coast to Coast are delighted to announce their new EP The Length Of A Smile will be released on 24th March through Fox Records.
To celebrate the news the band are streaming a brand new music video for Post Graduation, directed & produced by Henry Cox, vocalist of Boston Manor (Pure Noise Records). You can watch it here: https://youtu.be/y9kLcS8E_uI.

Explaining the thoughts behind the song, vocalist Keiran Hyland said: "I recently graduated from university after the three best years of my life, I said goodbye to the mates I made and packed my bags up to come back home to live with my parents, and there was a sudden crushing realisation that things would likely never be the same. The lyrics are about how my time living away from home went so fast and how I took everything for granted, and now I was just back where I started three years ago. One of my favourite lyrics is "We watched a pile of letters build up on the living room floor" which refers to how you could feel a change in all the mates I had made over the three years, it was like everyone was on a bit of a downer and had realised that this experience was over."

Signing to Fox Records for the release, The Length Of A Smile is the second release from the Black Country pop-punk band, who released their debut EP Dwell in April 2016. It will be available in both digital & physical formats with a special 'orange crush' vinyl pressing limited to just 200 copies available for pre-order now. Recorded in the space of a week at Emeline Studios, Kent and produced by Ian Sadler, the band are confident and excited to release what they say is their most formidable work to date:

"We feel this EP is a big step up for us and compared with debut EP 'Dwell' it's a much more 'concentrated' listening experience and has the best writing both musically and lyrically that any of us has ever come up with. We spent a solid week recording in Whitstable, Kent which was fun. We rented out a caravan to stay in next to the beach on a dodgy holiday park, but had to sneak each other onto the site because the security only thought there were 4 of us were there!" explained Keiran.

The Length Of A Smile is out 24th March 2017 through Fox Records.
