Damn Tall Building Release New Album On BirnCORE
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Boston-based, all-acoustic guerrilla roots band Damn Tall Buildings releases its new album, titled Good Enough!, on birnCORE, the Berklee Internet Radio Network's (BIRN) independent record label. The album, recorded live at The Red Room at Cafe 939 on April 22, 2016, showcases the band's lyrical storytelling and foot-stomping grooves in a high-energy set.

birnCORE gives Berklee students the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of operating an independent record label. Students engineered the Damn Tall Buildings performance that was broadcast live on the BIRN, mixed the recordings for the album release, designed the artwork, and edited performance videos.

Damn Tall Buildings (DTB) is composed of Berklee alumni Max Capistran (vocals/guitar), Avery 'Montana' Ballotta (vocals/fiddle), Jordan Alleman (vocals/banjo), and Sasha Dubyk (vocals/bass). While their instrumentation is bluegrass-based, they are not bound to the genre. Their songs about love and ramblin' help listeners forget their troubles and slip away into their up-tempo hobo-anthems.

The group was born in 2013 busking on Boston's Newbury Street, where the dynamic quartet formed the foundation for its fully-immersive and truly electrifying performances. DTB's robust tour schedule has brought them to festivals across the U.S., including Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, Philadelphia Folk Festival, Podunk Bluegrass Festival, Vinegrass, and FreshGrass (where they earned 2nd place in the band competition). While touring, they've shared the stage with The California Honeydrops, The Dustbowl Revival, Sierra Hull, Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band, Gangstagrass, and many more.

Good Enough! is DTB's third release, following their self-titled 2015 EP, and a 2014 debut full length. Released at a sold out-show at the legendary Club Passim, Damn Dall Buildings quickly bolstered the band's success on a national level with appearances at major festivals. DTB's debut album, Cure-All, successfully captured the band's unparalleled energy created in a live setting.

"The Carter Family for the millennial generation...The band coined the term 'guerrilla roots' to describe its sound, which draws on early-20th-century Americana/bluegrass music, 'repurposed for a modern audience.'" - The Boston Globe

DTB "rambles from 'Portland to Richmond' as they try to leave the 'Wichita Blues' back in the hotel room and a Celtic air offers a foundation for the flying notes that rise like the oncoming water in the 'Ballad of Nigel Williams'...Damn Tall Buildings have a way of making old songs feel modern." - The Alternate Root
