ALA.NI Announces 2017 Fall Tour Supporting Son Little
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Last month, the British-born, Paris-based artist ALA.NI released her debut album You & I via Missing Piece Records. The album premiered in its entirety via NPR Music's First Listen series, where Bob Boilen stated, "You won't hear another record that sounds like this one this year, or dare I say this decade."

Today, NPR's World Cafe aired their interview and performance with ALA.NI from her appearance at the 2017 NonCOMMvention at WXPN in Philadelphia, PA. In a candid conversation with David Dye, ALA.NI discussed the inspiration behind the songs on You & I and her life in music.

This fall, ALA.NI will hit the road for her first-ever US tour in support of Son Little, making stops in New York City, Boston, Vienna, Annapolis, Atlanta and more. For an example of her transcendent live performances, watch ALA.NI perform "Cherry Blossom" on Later... with Jools Holland.
Following the release of You & I, ALA.NI spoke with NPR's Morning Edition about the inspiration behind her debut album and her career in music.
You & I is now available for purchase and streaming at all major retailers.

Acclaim for ALA.NI:
"A startlingly intimate album...You and I blends stripped-down bedroom-pop aesthetics with haunting songs that recall mid-20th-Century pop in their sweeping melodicism." - Maura Johnston, Rolling Stone
"'ALA.NI evokes greats like Billie Holiday and Edith Piaf — but in 2017, she's something all her own." - Bob Boilen, NPR's All Songs Considered
"...a testament to her vocal talent and willingness to plunge into her emotions, be they joyous, sorrowful, or considered." - Haley Weiss, Interview
"a majestic ode to the first stages of love... ALA.NI's classic and jazzy voice saunters across the alluring instrumental as she woos the special someone who she longs to be with." - Lakin Starling, The Fader, on "Cherry Blossom"
"...simple, sweet, and elegant....'Suddenly' feels like being transported through time. Her vocals are filled with nostalgia and romance..." - Sydney Scott, ESSENCE, on "Suddenly"
"This video establishes Alani as an ethereal visionary. Alani's angelic face partnered with her haunting vocals will leave you spellbound." - Koko Ntuen, LADYGUNN, on "Cherry Blossom"
"Her music is as timeless as romance itself." - James Nadal, All About Jazz
