New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The writer and performer of rock music known as Shiny Glide has released his latest LP album, "I Am." The record contains 14 original tracks for an approximate total listening time of an hour. It has been proudly published on the Shiny Glide independent music label without the direction of the corporate music industry. Mellow, cruising, and glowing with poetic verve, "I Am" introduces Shiny Glide as one of Europe's most intriguing new rock artists.
Shiny Glide is Antonello Venneri from Italy. He cites as main artistic influences Radiohead, Coldplay, Pink Floyd,
David Gilmour, and Billy Idol. At different times he has also mentioned listening to classical music, oriental music, jazz and blues. Originally a busker on the streets of Rome, Shiny Glide's lyric poetry lends at least as much to his music as his self-taught guitar does.
"I always had a love for poetry and music since I was young," writes Shiny Glide. "I started music to share my art with others."
Since before the release of his first CD, 2009's "Pink Clouds," Glide has shared this art with people from Italy, Ireland, Philadelphia, New Orleans, Los Angeles, and more. He followed "...Clouds" with "
Beware" in 2012 and "Young Dream" in 2014. He has made radio play and live appearances in Europe, Canada and the USA, and has recorded video in the Caribbean's Dominican Republic.
