New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Chicago optimistic post-rock trio RLYR have dropped an early listen of their sophomore LP Actual Existence. Comprised of some of the most influential figures within the experimental rock scene (members of Pelican, Locrian and Bloodiest), RLYR have fine-tuned their MC Escher-esque song structures while preserving the indelible earworm melodies that are their hallmark.

You can catch them on the road in support of the album with Fotocrime (members of Coliseum and Young Windows) starting later this week (full dates below) and pick up the album when it arrives this Friday via The Flenser.

"...an upper level of musicianship that doesn't skip on the emotional investment." - NPR

"...de Brauw uses his six strings to creates intricate little worlds without even uttering a single word. He'll lead the listener down the darkest of abysses, only to climb out moments later on a triumphant crescendo to the riff heavens." - NOISEY

"Fans of Pelican, Battles, Chavez and the like will want to give this a spin over and over." - REVOLVER
