The Sheepdogs Announce Headlining Summer US Tour
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) THE SHEEPDOGS - the Canadian-based five-piece guitar-driven rock band--have announced they will be hitting the road this summer on a headlining U.S. tour in support of their recently-released album, CHANGING COLOURS. Kicking off July 20 in Virginia Beach, VA at Shakas Live, the band - with Brent Cowles supporting--will make additional stops in Nashville, New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Washington D.C., among others, before wrapping August 2 in Burlington, VT at ArtsRiot. Tickets go on sale this Friday (5/18) at 10:00am ET.

For CHANGING COLOURS, THE SHEEPDOGS expanded their sound, encompassing more styles and hues to enhance their trademark beef-and-boogie twin-axe riffs, hooks, shuffles and long-haired aesthetic. Of the album's opener, "Nobody," RollingStone.com raved: "Rooted in bar-band boogie and retro rock & roll riffage, Canadian kings the Sheepdogs channel the stomp and swagger of the 1970s with this track from the band's February release, Changing Colours. Come for the chorus, where the band's five members stack their harmonies into thick slabs of defiance; stay for the harmonized guitar leads that run throughout the song's second half, channeling everyone from Thin Lizzy to the Eagles" (March 30, 2018).

THE SHEEPDOGS--Ewan Currie (vocals, guitars), Ryan Gullen (bass, backing vocals), Sam Corbett (drums, backing vocals), Shamus Currie(keyboards, trombone) and Jimmy Bowskill (guitars) - deliver passionate music born out of spontaneity on CHANGING COLOURS, their follow-up to 2015's Future Nostalgia. The 17-song album features the euphoric "Nobody"alongside the electrifying "Saturday Night" and the driving "I've Got A Hole Where My Heart Should Be," the record's infectious first single. Watch the official music video for "I've Got A Hole Where My Heart Should Be" here.

CHANGING COLOURS - released earlier this year via Dine Alone Records(in the U.S.) and Warner Music (in Canada)--marks the sixth full-length album release for the four-time JUNO Award-winning group who graced the cover of Rolling Stone in 2011 when they made history as the first unsigned band to appear on the cover of the famed magazine by beating out 15 other artists in the Choose the Cover contest (Issue 1137).
