Steve Aoki And Nicky Romero Release New Collaboration "Be Somebody" Ft. Kiiara
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Steve Aoki and Nicky Romero are at it again with a fresh collaboration, this time on their new track "Be Somebody" featuring Kiiara. Both Romero and Aoki's dynamic styles are evident in the track's electro-influenced melody, progressive breakdown and funky basslines, all complemented by popular singer's Kiiara's pristine vocals. The empowering lyrics and overall inspiring feeling of the track portray the true essence of dance music's ability to positively affect people's lives, and no one is more aware of that than two of the scene's most prolific artists. "Be Somebody" follows Romero and Aoki's recent remix swap of their respective tracks "You on Me" and "Lie to Me," a promising start to what will hopefully be a long history of collaborations.

Nicky Romero has progressed from being a young, musical wunderkind to an absolute force to be reckoned with as a DJ, producer, and mogul whose label is at the forefront of modern electronic dance music. Romero's resume is an impressive and lengthy string of hits includes iconic originals and collaborations with artists including Avicii, Calvin Harris, NERVO, ZEDD and more. Through the constant evolution of his sound and reinvestment in emerging artists, Nicky has proved his ability to evolve with the ever-changing landscape of electronic music. Steve Aoki has been making waves (and smashing cakes) in the industry for more than two decades, becoming one of the most successful producers and music executives of commercial dance music. The self-made mogul started out by throwing parties with himself as the opening gig for artists like MSTRKRFT and Bloc Party, eventually building a brand and climbing his way to the top. Aoki was launched into the stratosphere of success and never came down, though he still manages to find ways to stay grounded; he has consistently been one of the most charitable musicians for his contributions to global humanitarian relief organizations. Today, Nicky leverages his production prowess by raising up promising talent on his label Protocol Recordings, while Aoki does the same with his imprint and lifestyle brand Dim Mak. Stay tuned as Romero and Aoki continue to build their empires one track at a time!
