AUSTIN, TX. (www.wnbiodeisel.com) - Willie Nelson already changed the face of modern music. Now he's ready to help secure America's energy future while cleaning the air, as the singer launches a Biodiesel station in Carl's Corner, TX, with a party worthy of the Lone Star State. On July 3rd, Willie will host an afternoon of music, entertainment and fun at the grand opening of Carl's Corner truck stop, entertainment center and restaurant. Carl's is an official Biodiesel station, selling Willie's B-20 blend. Since October 2004, Carl's has been test marketing the blend.

Joining forces with Biodiesel partners like Starbucks Coffee, Texas Roadhouse restaurants and XM Radio, Willie hopes the event will draw attention to his clean-burning natural diesel fuel. The event is open to public free of charge, and features tractor pulls, BBQ and chili cook-offs, and live music. Starting at 6 p.m. that evening, Willie himself performs at nearby Hank's Place.
Tickets are $30. The next day, Willie heads off for Ft. Worth to headline his annual 4th of July picnic.

Willie started his company "Willie Nelson's Biodiesel" with partners Carl Cornelius and Distribution Drive to improve air quality and to help America's family farmers find new uses for their products. Willie is such a believer in Biodiesel, as of October 2004 he started selling a B20 Biodiesel blend (20% Biodiesel, 80% diesel) from a truck stop at Carl's Corner, on highway I-35, between Dallas and Waco, at Exit 374. Compared to petroleum diesel, Biodiesel - made from soybeans or even used cooking oil - reduces carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, hydrocarbons and other harmful pollutants. The fuel can be burned without modifications to diesel engines.

Currently, both Willie Nelson and fellow artist Neil Young use Biodiesel in their tour buses and personal vehicles. A website, www.wnbiodeisel.com is up on the web now, packed with consumer and technical information about Biodiesel, its mission and its products.
