Michael Vincent Waller Releases EP As Solo Performance Debut
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) On June 17th, 2020, composer Michael Vincent Waller is releasing a solo performance debut EP on the deep listening series, Longform Editions.

"The understated work of Michael Vincent Waller becomes a thing of minimalist beauty on his solo piano composition, A Song. This lyrical, impressionistic work explores the subtle gravity of harmonies with an inward gaze." - Longformeditions.com

The EP titled A Song features Waller at the piano, recorded in a single take with no editing. The piece was created during the same time as the recording of his most recent full-length album, Moments.

Michael Vincent Waller is an American composer based in New York City. His music has been described as lyrical and introspective, drawing inspiration from impressionism, post-minimalism and world music. He has released three full length albums: The South Shore (XI), Trajectories (Recital), and Moments (Unseen Worlds) - which have garnered reviews in WIRE and Pitchfork. In collaboration with noted soloists and ensembles including R. Andrew Lee, Stephane Ginsburg, Dante Boon, the S.E.M. Ensemble, and Ensemble Dedalus, Waller's work has been performed at Carnegie Hall, ISSUE Project Room, Roulette, Palais de Tokyo Museum, and SXSW.
