(Whitney Wolanin Official Website) - Whitney Wolanin, the six foot tall teen athlete & national recording artist, singer, songwriter, and High School Honors student with the soulful Multi Octave Voice had her original hit single "Good" achieve the No 15 position on the Top 40 FMQB AC40 chart at radio after reaching the number 19 position the week prior. Rob Thomas is No 1 & No 5 on this weeks HITS Chart with Gwen Stefani, Sheryl Crow and Whitney Wolanin at the 13, 14 and 15 positions respectively. Backstreet Boys are at No 29 with Incomplete and Kelly Clarkson is at No 32 with her Breakaway HIT song.

The radio hits chart is based on reported and monitored radio airplay around the country by FMQB the radio station airplay monitoring trade service. "Good" is an original song co-written, co-produced and performed vocally by Whitney Wolanin. "Good" is the first cut on the album Funkology XIII (the study of Funk) which contains 13 hit songs with the Roman numeral moniker XIII representing Whitney's age (13) at the time of recording.

"Good" has been making a steady climb each week as more and more radio stations in regions around the US have added the song to their regular station rotation play lists. Whitney Wolanin on several occasions in 2005 has been recognized as a top added artist at radio.

Whitney Wolanin has just completed tracking in the studio a co-written, co-produced original �2005 holiday season song titled "Christmas (the Warmest Time of the Year)" an up-tempo party on holiday season song with a unique signature bass line in collaboration with Funk Brothers Bass Legend Bob Babbitt and producer-songwriter Vincent Wolanin. "Christmas" featuring the soulful voice of Whitney Wolanin is expected to be released to radio stations around the US in late October or early November 2005 for impact at radio airplay on November 21. Whitney Wolanin Christmas (the Warmest Time of the Year) is the first original holiday song in many years by an artist already on the radio airplay charts especially one of such a youthful age.

Whitney Wolanin also was recognized recently by both MTV and VH1 when Whitney was awarded national recording artist status with her very own Whitney Wolanin page on the MTV & VH1 official websites. Whitney Wolanin has performed LIVE at various events this year to total audiences of over a million people. Whitney Wolanin also has had over 2 million page reads on various News sites around the world so far during 2005.
