Newsboys Launch New Single 'I Am Free'

NEW YORK (Newsboys Official Website) - Internationally renowned rock band, newsboys, has launched the explosive first single, 'I Am Free,' from its upcoming Inpop Records debut. National radio networks K-Love and Air 1 immediately added this special live version out of the box. The single will go for official adds on January 20th.

The band added the up-tempo 'I Am Free' to its live show last summer, and it quickly became a fan favorite. The song is a perfect mix of newsboys' signature live rock style wrapped in a memorable worship melody that the crowd can sing along with.

Newsboys frontman Peter Furler says, 'Performing the song continues to be the highlight of our set. From the Sea of Galilee, to Marrakech, Morocco, in front of 15,000 Muslims, in an aircraft hangar in Scotland and here at home in America, the lyrics ring true no matter where we go.'
