Roswell, US (Sixstepsrecords) - sixstepsrecords' ninth Passion project, Passion: Everything Glorious, released April 4 to wide critical acclaim and became an immediate best seller. Recording the highest street week sales ever for a Passion recording, the album claimed the No. 1 position on the SoundScan Christian Retail sales chart. The album also landed at No. 69 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart and became the second highest full album debut in the history of EMI CMG digital releases. Only sixstepsrecords' David Crowder Band's 'A Collision' sold more units in its first week at digital retail.

Following eight critically acclaimed Passion recordings that have sold over one-and-a half million units, Passion: Everything Glorious features brand new music recorded live from the main stage at the Passion 06 gathering held Jan. 2-5 in Nashville. The recording features 13 tracks and brand new songs from Chris Tomlin, David Crowder Band, Charlie Hall, Matt Redman and more, joined by the voices of the 18,000 in attendance and representing students from all 50 states, 20 countries. Appearing on the album are four exclusive songs that will only be heard on Passion: Everything Glorious. Exclusive songs include 'Glorious' and 'Party' from Chris Tomlin, 'Everything Glorious' from David Crowder Band, and Matt Redman's 'You Never Let Go.'

'I am thrilled with the sales success of Passion: Everything Glorious, and for our retail partners who resonate with Passion and its vision to reach college campuses for God,' says David Crace, EMI CMG Label Group, SVP Marketing and Artist Development. 'This music is extremely relevant to college kids, but also resonates with anyone who enjoys modern worship music. We're seeing the fan base grow incrementally with each sixsteps record.'

As the Passion Movement continues to inspire spiritual awakening on college campuses everywhere, here is how the critics are responding to Passion's latest offering:

'...it seemed impossible to top How Great Is Our God, last year's impressive Passion release, but Everything Glorious could well be the best in the series to date.' - Christian Music Today,

'Rarely does an artist live up to the expectations imposed by critics insisting that each band's subsequent CD release to be better than the previous CD. Yet Passion keeps setting the standard for contemporary, God-saturated worship, and this explosive, powerful new CD raises the bar yet again.' - Worship.com

'Just short of hearing the angels sing, the Passion worship band is the closest thing a worshipper can get to heaven.' - CBNmusic.com

'Fans of the Passion movement will not be disappointed, and those new to the movement will find much to like about Passion: Everything Glorious.' - JesusFreakHideout.com

'It's authentic stuff, a must-have for anyone who wants to enter (and stay) in a worship circle.' - Christrock.com

The day before the release of Passion: Everything Glorious, Passion Conferences and sixstepsrecords was honored by the Gospel Music Association with a prestigious Impact Award. The Impact Award is presented to a non-artist individual or organization that has made a significant contribution to the gospel music industry

Following the release of Passion: Everything Glorious, the Passion/sixstepsrecords family of lead-worshipers received an amazing 10 GMA Music Awards, 13 Dove Award trophies in all during the 37th Annual GMA Music Awards April 5. Chris Tomlin was named Artist and Male Vocalist of the Year, and received five awards total. David Crowder received three awards with his band, and three for his production and songwriting credits. Louie Giglio and Matt Redman each received one award.
